Emma Kendall is a print designer, illustrator and artist.

Her designs are vivid, vibrant and energetic, inspired by her passion for life, the natural world, colour and energy. She is a versatile designer, and despite having a strong individual creative handwriting, her skills are adaptable to different styles and works.

She has a variety of global industry experiences,

including Karolina York (Australia), Seterie Argenti (Lake Como, Italy), and Amanda Kelly, London.

She has also worked at Vivienne Westwood HQ, and Jacky Tsai's artist studio (Shoreditch).

Her most recent works

are inspired significantly by nature, and current cultural and environmental concepts. She made a bespoke Embroidery Piece as a Finalist for Hand and Lock the Prize 2017; a work of art in collaboration with The Subversive Gardener; and a Mural Commission for a physiotherapy studio in London.

After gaining a First Class Honours Degree

in Textile Design at Bucks New University, she also got selected for Texprint and exhibited her graduate collections at Texprint London, and Premiere Vision Paris.

Emma is currently working towards

launching her first major professional textile design collection, under her new business label, EMZ design. Her original drawings, limited edition prints, large scale artworks, and range of textile designs for fashion and interiors will all be on sale in Summer 2018.
